On December 6th a comprehensive research group brought together representatives of the ecological and environmental authorities, experts in the field of environmental resources and sustainable development from universities, scholars of environmental and resource protection law, and journalists from the media, focusing on the issue of “Advance Zone of Comprehensive River basin management”, we have visited several key river basin management sites in Jiangxia District, Wuhan, including the EOD pilot project for ecological management around Luhu Lake, the EOD project for the start-up area of aquatic pastures in Luhu Lake, the Bayi Pumping Station, the Liangzi Lake Scenic Spot, etc. , a comprehensive review of Jiangxia District's strategy and effectiveness in water environmental governance.

Guo Xue was invited to participate in the survey, and in the subsequent symposium, aiming at the Jiangxia District River basin comprehensive management of the optimization of the path and high-quality development strategy, put forward his own views. Guo believes that river basin management is more than just environmental protection, it is deeply linked to economic development, social progress and cultural heritage and other dimensions, jiangxia District River basin management pilot area should actively explore the upgrading of “Smart” system, using “Digital Intelligence” technology for small watershed management to inject new momentum.
